Solo Raid Season 2 is finally here, and this time around we have to fight Blacksmith.

There are some differences with the Special Interception, but the basics remain the same. We recommend you read that guide first and then come back to this one.

Also, if it’s your first Solo Raid, go read our basic guide on that too.

All that said, let’s get to the cool stuff.

What are the new mechanics?

There are two main differences with the Special Interception version of this boss: bombs and interruption parts.

  • He will throw two sets of bombs instead of one, but they deal less damage and also are easier to break
    • We’ll have to see how tough they are in challenge mode tho
  • Anytime there’s interruption parts (we’ll talk about his skills below) you NEED water type Nikkes in order to be able to break them
    • If you don’t have any good water type units, you can use your cover and wait until it’s over at the risk of losing units / time

In general, if you don’t have enough water type units, you’ll need damage reduction, and it’s a must you bring a healer for high level and challenge mode.

Anything else?

Other than those two, there is a new skill that Blacksmith will use here:

  • He will charge his core and do a heavy attack the NIKKE with the current highest HP

The rest of the mechanics stay the same for this version of the boss, and it’s going to be a lot easier to deal with than Season 1 with Mother Whale.

Recommended units

These units are just recommendations, there are plenty of combinations you can use to defeat the boss, and this should only be used as a general guide on what works on Blacksmith.

Burst 1: Dorothy, Milk, Ludmilla, Liter, Pepper, Rapunzel.

Burst 2: Viper, Poli, Centi, Noah, Novel

Burst 3: Privaty, Helm, Scarlet, Modernia, Snow White, Drake, Maxwell
