Before we start: if the website is somewhat broken for you, refresh your cache, that should fix it.
I’ve updated the design, so it’s easier to navigate with, removing the top menu we previously had and adding a new sidebar.
Why a sidebar?
When looking at functionality for wiki websites I always check Maxroll, Hellhades and Wowhead because they have amazing tools but… when it comes to design, I think Prydwen is 100 miles away from most of them.
A simple example would be Maxroll and IcyVeins redesign where both have now sidebars too, and honestly it makes navigating through the websites a lot easier.
I’m not saying they’re copying anyone, sidebars in websites are older than me. But I think it was the right move to incorporate this design to make things easier for everyone.
Next changes
Tier list for both NIKKE and Reverse: 1999 are in the works. Both are mostly finished but I still want to make sure they’re good before publishing them.
Changes to the team builder in NIKKE are also needed, so that will be the next steps after the tier lists are done.
After that, I want to update our tools and make new ones. Damage calculators and updating the interactive map will take priority.
Lastly, a lot of QoL and small updates for the website are in the pipeline but will take some time.
Adding ads to the website
To finish things off, I’m adding ads again into the website.
I’ll try to make them not intrusive, but let’s be real, every penny helps to make a living out of content creation.
