Should you reroll?
Haze Reverb is a game that lets you infinitely reroll on the first banner with a limited amount of SSR you can obtain. If you pair that with all the resources a new player gets (100+ pulls in the TW server and some free skins) I would say rerolling is not necessary unless you’re looking to start with a specific character.
It’s also worth mentioning that in Haze Reverb a lot of the meta characters are low rarity (1 and 2-stars) making reroll even more useless for most players unless you want to fully min-max your start of the game.
As usual, rerolling is a process that most people should not bother with, since it will kill the hype for a game if you spend hours upon hours rerolling just to end up leaving the game after a few days.
Infinite reroll banner
There are 5 characters you can get in this banner, but not all of them are good. Reminder that names are translated from the TW version until we get official ones.
You will unlock this gacha after completing main campaign level 1-5. You can get one SSR every time you reroll, but you can’t get two or more SSR in this banner.
From the initial pool of characters, it’s recommended to either pick Shinshi or Alice.
- Alice (girl in the middle) is a really strong character even nowadays, but she needs high investment, making her a late bloomer and hard to use without a support unit
- Shinshi (girl in the far left) is a powerful DPS unit that will carry you through most of the campaign available at launch in the game
If you are interested in rushing campaign I would suggest picking up Shinshi, if you care about long term raids, Alice is a better unit if you decide to fully invest in her.
Normal rate-up banner reroll
In the current version for both JP and TW servers, NONE of the release units are Tier 0 outside some low rarity support units. Both DPS and tanks are new releases, so I would not reroll on this banner since honestly speaking, it’s a waste of time.
