Gear rarity

Lost Sword gear rarity system

Lost Sword gear system is like any other RPG; from white for trash gear all the way to yellow for legendary.

We don’t recommend upgrading every single piece of gear unless you’re a new player and have nothing else to equip.

If you get at least 2 good lines, you can upgrade that piece to use until something better drops. Min maxing gear in this game takes ages so be patient.

Different types of stats

Main stats

These are your usual flat stats that most games have. Item level, HP, attack, etc can be found here.

Unique stats

Unique stats can include not only flat but also % stats and more importantly, skills.

Anytime you see skills on an item, please check them since some can be really good even if the other stats are not desirable.

Special stats

Random stats that are different depending on the piece of gear and rarity. You can rerroll these stats.

Stat priority

You can completely ignore flat stats. They don’t scale well considering the numbers you can see in this game so % will always be better.

Also please remember this is only a reference. Each character is different and will require stats based on their skills.

Weapons

ATK% = Crit Damage% > Ignore Damage Reduction%

Developers keep adding more and more gear that gives crit chance, so Crit Damage% is becoming more and more important over time.

Armors

Critical Resistance Increase% > Defense% = Block Chance Increase%

Trinkets

For trinkets main stats are more important than special stats.

When it comes to special stats, anything with % (pretty sure you can only get HP in the case of trinkets).

The important part is the special stats depending on the item. As a general reference:

Runes

Runes can only get 4 stats; Priority, HP, HP% and Critical Damage Increase%.

What about priority?

It’s a PVP stat. You can completely ignore it in my opinion.

It will allow your units to use their skills faster than your opponent (ONLY IN PVP).

Considering some of the lines you can get are pretty good, this is by far the worst stat you can get on any piece of gear.
