Roaring crash

Deal damage equal to 100% of attack power to the farthest and nearest doll from the boss.

If the boss has [Iron rock], stun both dolls for 1 turn.

[Iron rock]: Reduce stability damage by 2, increase DEF by 30%. If dispelled, gain [Broken defense alpha].

[Broken defense alpha]: Stability damage received is increased by 2, defense reduced by 30% and this debuff cannot be dispelled.

Notes:

This skill makes offensive dispel a requirement. Some notable sources of offensive dispel include:

  • Qiongjiu fixed key Efficient Planning
  • Tololo fixed key Galactic Cruise
  • Vepley Skill II: Exclusive Stage
  • Daiyan Skill I: Absolute Tuning
  • Peritya Skill I: Fixed Erosion
  • Battlepass SSR SMG: Classified Manuscript
  • [Heat Recovery]
  • Future options include Qiuhua, Springfield, Vector, etc.

Howl and shock

Designate an area around 1 unit and after 1 turn, deal damage equal to 60% of attack power to all enemies in the designated area and apply [Battle echo] on the enemies hit.

[Battle echo]: After attacking in your turn, the boss will counter attack with an ambush that deals damage equal to 80% attack power. Cannot be dispelled.

Sweeping in all directions

Deal damage equal to 100% of attack power to all enemies ignoring cover, gain [Unbreakable iron] and generate a shield with max health equal to 10% of hp. When the shield is present, reduce damage taken by 30%. When the shield is broken, gain [Broken defense beta].

[Unbreakable iron]: Reduce stability damage by 2, increase def by 30%. If dispelled, gain [Broken defense alpha].

[Broken defense alpha]: Stability damage received is increased by 2, defense reduced by 30%. cannot be dispelled.

[Broken defense beta]: Defense reduced by 10%, cannot be dispelled.

Important: You will still get points for damaging the shield so in some cases it’s better to not break it for more points.

You will still do more dps and get more points from breaking the shield, but if you are a mega whale and you kill the boss before the 7th turn then you will lose out on points (just mica things 🙂)

Indomitable fighting spirit

When stability is higher than 0, damage taken is reduced by 80%. After stability is broken, stability cannot be recovered for 2 turns.

Squad Preparation

Include enough sources of offensive dispel to deal with [Unbreakable iron] buff.

Pick a source of cleanse and sustain to maximize the effect of [Bleed, Critical frenzy].

Have some mobility to pick up the boxes that spawn around the map.

Group up your dolls around the boss to maximize your gains of [Blade mark] and [Shocked] or, if you can’t sustain your team then split them up.

Try to put at least 3 dolls near him to gain at least 1 stack of [Shocked] or borrow a broken support from your guild to maximize your survivability and point gain through stacking up.

Turn order

Rotation for this big bungus might get a bit complicated at turn 2 and 3, but after turn 3 it should be pretty straight forward.

TLDR; after turn 2 cleanse his buff, pick up boxes, break his stability and shield, blow him up.

  1. Basic Attack: Fighting against adversity
  2. Skill II: Roaring crash
  3. Skill III: Howl and shock
  4. Skill I: Shake the earth and slice the shadow.

Group everyone up or put your healers/debuffers into cover, there are breakable covers so pay attention.

Be careful with the bombardment skill. If your sustain isn’t enough keep everyone away from the main target of the airstrike, but don’t spread out too far cause you might still want to keep everyone group up to maximize [Blade mark] and [Shocked] stacks.

Not much to do yet so just break the boss stability so he will take extra damage next turn.

  1. Basic Attack: Fighting against adversity
  2. Skill II: Roaring crash
  3. Skill IV: Sweeping in all directions
  4. Ready your offensive cleanser because at the end of the turn he will gain the buff and shield.

THIS TIP ONLY APPLIES IF YOU HAVE A HEALER THAT CAN CLEANSE STUN: If you can’t cleanse the buff then remember to position your units correctly, place less important dps and tankers at the front and far back of the squad.

Keep your healer as the solo unit in the middle so they will not be stunned. If your healer does get stun, just rewind a turn and position them correctly.

  1. Skill II: Roaring crash
  2. Skill I: Shake the earth and slice the shadow.

Dispel the stun if you can and his [Iron rock] ASAP. If your healer is stunned, then position your characters so that the healer won’t be stunned next turn. If you still can’t cleanse his buff then you will have to live with 2 bricked dolls every turn so just go next.

From here on out he will reapply his shield and the [Iron rock] every other turn so just make sure your offensive cleanser is ready for when he reapplies the buff. If you can’t break his shield every cycle then don’t stress it too much, you will still get a decent score at the end.

From this turn moving forward, boxes will start to spawn around the boss after he uses his 4th skill. There will be 3 boxes total, 1 will spawn behind him, 2 will spawn in front of him.

The boxes will give you a 20% damage boost for 2 attacks. If you can move to them, pick them up but also remember to put your units close to the boss because you still want to stack up for the [Shocked] debuff.

  1. Basic Attack: Fighting against adversity
  2. Skill II: Roaring crash
  3. Skill III: Howl and shock
  4. Skill IV: Sweeping in all directions

Ready your cleansers and remember to keep your healer in the middle as always.

  1. Basic Attack: Fighting against adversity
  2. Skill II: Roaring crash
  3. Skill I: Shake the earth and slice the shadow.
  1. Basic Attack: Fighting against adversity
  2. Skill II: Roaring crash

  4. Skill IV: Sweeping in all directions
  1. Basic Attack: Fighting against adversity
  2. Skill II: Roaring crash
  3. Skill I: Shake the earth and slice the shadow.

Send him back to the scrap yard.

Daily Aid Notes

Boss takes extra damage when it has X element debuffs

This buff is unique as you can bring units of multiple elements/penetration types and still get a good score.

An example is the “Boss take extra damage when he has a fire type debuff” buff, if you see this you can just bring 2 fire units of your choice (my recommendation is Vector and QJ) that apply consistent fire debuffs, just make sure you pay attention to the boss to see if he has a burn type debuff before unloading your nukes.

X type of elemental attack deal more damage/crit damage

It’s kinda mid, crit damage is the preferred option because of the boss mechanic but either one is fine to use.

The most common type should be for whoever is on rate up banner, if they just port it straight from CN then the first season should be fire, followed by hydro and then electric.

Distance Precision Targeting

Range for both long and short variations is calculated relative to the center tile of the boss, not its whole body.

Example runs

Water squad with water buff. Needs Tololo, Springfield, Nikketa. The last 2 slots depend on your roster.

Fire squad with fire buff. Qiongjiu, Vector, Qiuhua, Sharkry, Centaureissi. Centaureissi might not be able to keep up with the boss damage if you group everyone up, but her burn and crit damage boost after her expansion key makes her a valuable inclusion.

Standard electric after Leva release, nothing special here. Sub out Belka for a sub-DPS with defense down if you don’t have her at high dupes.

I’m penetrating it. Average heavy penetration comp. 3 or more snipers, standouts includes: Wawa, Springfield, Nikketa. A sub DPS with def down or damage taken bonus: QJ, Nemesis, Vepley.
