Cheese team for most campaign stages

The campaign in Lost Sword is different from other gacha games, where combat power (CP) plays a huge role on whether you can actually push or not.

In this game, team compositions actually plays a bigger role and a good combination of character / cards will allow you to push campaign with ease.

There are a lot of possible combinations, but today we’ll just talk about the current strat used to push all difficulties of campaign (normal, hard and hell modes).

Before we dive into the team, important to mention that this setup uses auto ultimate skills even on mob stages.

• Best tank in the game if properly built thanks to her immunity, crit resistance and debuffs for the enemies
• After her buff she's actually a decent DPS character thanks to all the buffs she's providing for herself

• The setup to use her as a tank it's not available for everyone since you need specific characters / cards to make it work

• One of the best frozen skills in the game with only 9 seconds cooldown
• Her freeze can be used to cheese a lot of boss / annoying mechanics
• Critical chance team buffs are hard to come by. Merlin helps with her passive

• Incredible damage for bosses and clearing groups of enemies thanks to both her passive skills
• Can spam her active skill when she uses her Ultimate skill increasing her damage output
• Highest base critical chance that only increases even more if you are using her own card
• Can be used on any team composition without worrying about synergies

• Isabel is usually a mid-lane character, but we use her as a frontline thanks to her immunity (passive skill and ultimate), making her take almost no damage.
• Claire is used to stun all enemies (ultimate and when she’s about to die), and provide heals.
• Merlin and Tristan are there to CC enemies and provide extra damage.
• Tiamat is our main damage dealer. Currently the best DPS in the game, both single target and AoE.

Important: Even though that is the Korean strategy, I’ve been using Ria instead of Tristan for extra heals and that has helped me more. Try both combinations.

Card setup

Cards and pets are as important as your characters in Lost Sword, so let’s talk about the setup to make this team work:

Isabel needs Charm (Lilith card) to get more critical hit resistance.

Claire needs Holy Sword’s Blessing (purple Ethan card) so she gets a second life and procs her skill.

The rest of the characters can use normal DPS cards.

Pet setup

As usual, pets depend on your own account and what has more dupes, but there’s always one that will help push the campaign; Esteria.

The fear it’s perfect for bosses and annoying enemies paired with the double CC of Merlin and Tristan.

The other 2 pets, whatever you have with the highest dupes.

About stats & specialities

We already have a guide for best stats, but I wanted to mention Isabel here since we’re using her as our only frontline unit:

• For specialities, crit resistance increase
• For gear, crit resistance increase with HP% and DEF% to survive longer
• For trinket, something like Aegis for extra damage reduction
• When it comes to refining her gear, you can focus on armor and trinket and ignore the weapon and rune
