Crown skill 2 “Royal Attire” last part gives Attack Damage to everyone in the team only when recovery effect takes place, meaning when she gets any form of active healing (or life leech). This buff last 7 seconds so you need someone who can consistently provide heals for Crown to maintain her buff.
There are a lot of options for heals, but Helm with her treasure is the best one since it’s consistent enough and also gives the team extra buffs, making them the most broken combination of support units at the moment in the game.
After the synergy mentioned above, it’s also important to remember positioning in this game matters when it comes to get buffs. Let’s put the next scenario, everyone in the team is 100% HP, when Naga heals 2 allies with the lowest HP percentage, who gets the heal first?
If everyone is 100% HP, NIKKE will apply the recovery effect (and buffs in general) from left to right. This means if you want to consistently proc Crown skill 2 for extra Attack Damage, just to be safe, put her always on the first position of your team.
This doesn’t matter if you are using Helm since she heals everyone rather than just one or two units, but it’s important to remember.
Red Hood is (for now) the only unit in the game that can burst at any position, making her the most versatile unit by far. This can also be confusing for new players since they don’t know when to burst with her, but as a general rule of thumb:
There are two type of weapons in the game you can either spam or full charge; sniper rifles and rocket launchers. Unless the character you are manually playing has a skill that activates when “fully charges the attack”, it’s always better to spam attacks as fast as possible.
This has two reasons behind it: over a 3-minute fight the DPS is higher, generally speaking, and you can generate more burst this way.
