Stamina system

Like a lot of gacha games, Sword of Convallaria includes a stamina system to gatekeep your progress and limit how much you can farm. I don’t like this, but it’s a staple in most (if not all) gacha games.

The maximum stamina in SoC is 240, and you will refill 1 point each 4 minutes. It will be fully maxed out in 16 hours, which is shorter than other games in the same genre.

You also get stamina twice per day by logging in after specific times with your daily missions, so make sure you grab those, since it’s 120 extra stamina you can use to farm every day.

Should you refill stamina?

Stamina refreshing it’s really expensive, please save your potions for specific events or just to grind materials you are in need of.

When it comes to refreshing with gems:

NO.

The cost is just not there for F2P players. The cost in premium currency is 60 > 120 > 240 > 360 for each refresh, 4 per day maximum. Let me repeat: if you are a F2P, almost never you should refresh stamina with premium currency.

Where to spend stamina

There are a lot of levels where you can spend stamina at endgame, but not all of them are worth spending stamina outside the daily bonus.

Of course, focus first on clearing the campaign and do all the farming stages at least 1 time for the first time clear rewards, since it’s extra materials and premium currency to pull for characters. Follow this guide when you are stuck on campaign or gated by account level:

  • Tarot cards: This is endgame farming. DO NOT FARM until you can clear the last or second to last maps.
  • Weapons: Endgame farming. DO NOT FARM until you can clear the last map.
  • Character shards: Do this every single day. It takes 100 days to get a character from 1-star to 5-stars, so don’t miss this.
  • Character XP: Only do the daily bonus. Usually you will have more than enough experience at endgame unless you are leveling up a lot of characters.
  • Ascension stones: Only do the daily bonus. Outside the bonus, you get almost nothing, so it’s not worth it until endgame.
  • Star stones: Only do the daily bonus. The star maps take forever to max out so you can’t really rush this.
  • Gear dust: This should be your priority if you are stuck on campaign or level gated. Dust is scarce the moment you start gearing your units, so focus on this early game.

Take into consideration that every account is different, and sometimes you will need to grind levels that are not efficient for the stamina cost (maybe you need new weapons, tarot cards, etc).

If for whatever reason you don’t have any Legendary weapons you can equip because bad luck or whatever, and you feel like you don’t need to farm dust (YOU WILL. TRUST ME.) the next best choice (and calling it best is a long stretch), is Star Trail.
You WILL need to level up your talents… and you WILL run out of materials… But as stated above after extra rewards it gives you next to nothing… Good luck Voyagers.
