Persona 5 The Phantom X Global Version Comming Soon

SEGA’s considering dropping the Persona 5 The Phantom X Global Version bombshell as part of their plan to boost their Games-as-a-service division, according to their latest financial report. While the game already made waves with its release in certain Asian regions, SEGA’s now eyeing a wider release, including Japanese and global versions. The game’s got some serious Persona series clout behind it, and given its success in its initial limited release, expanding its reach seems like a logical next step.

In case you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, Persona 5 The Phantom X is like a remix of the original Persona 5, featuring a fresh batch of characters but sticking to the same setting and vibe. Developed by Perfect World (good memories playing the old mmorpg they made lol), it throws in some gacha mechanics because they know we’re gambling addicts, letting you pull for new characters and Persona users.

SEGA’s not stopping there, though. They’re flexing their gaming muscles with plans for both old-school and new IPs. Metaphor Re:Fantazio is set to drop soon, and they’re reviving classics like Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage. So, it looks like SEGA’s got a whole arsenal of games lined up to keep us glued to our screens.
