Review
The new MG queen is here and she’s pretty strong. Let’s talk about her kit, team compositions, if you need dupes and the best build for her.
Currently, one of the strongest machine guns in the game, the damage output Ludmilla: Winter Owner provides is huge. Let’s start with her skills and what makes her such a great unit.
Skill 1 provides a permanent single target damage taken debuff which is already pretty good. The damage every 60 bullets it’s pretty consistent, but it’s tied to your FPS like all machine guns, so for most phone players this is going to be a pain point if you want to be competitive in raids.
Skill 2 extra damage is welcome, but the good part is the extra crit since she’s constantly hitting core (when the enemy raptures have one) making her hit like a truck. This skill doesn’t need high investment if you are lacking materials but long term you want to go 10/10/10.
Her burst skill benefit from extra ATK, so this is a huge buff to her overall damage. You could technically run her as an off burst unit, but in contrast to Modernia you are actually losing quite a bit of damage. This also means she is more flexible than Modernia because you don’t have to worry about using school girls while burting.
To summarize, an incredible machine gun NIKKE that’s going to become a staple unit for any boss that has a core and for water elemental content.
When it comes to teams, most content will be around bunny girls with either Liter or Volume, while bosses will have school girls as main support units. These team compositions also apply to raids, as long as the bosses are weak to water type NIKKES.
Resilience cube + crit team
Bunnies + bastion for infinite ammo
Best Ludmilla: Winter Owner build
Harmony cube. You can play her two different ways. If you are running a core damage team with school girls, reload speed is better, since 3 second reload speed is a pain. If you are running a Liter + bunnies team, bastion for infinite ammo.
Stats. 2 lines of max ammo are enough, but if you get more, it’s good. The rest of the priority goes for elemental damage and ATK. Hit rate is not needed, and she already provides crit rate on her own, some extra crit damage could be useful.
Skills. Low investment? 7/4/7. High investment 10/7/9-10. Skill 1 takes priority, then burst for the extra ATK. You can max Skill 2 long term, but the extra damage you get in exchange for that amount of materials is not worth it.
Do you need dupes? Like any DPS unit, she benefits from each 2% increase on stats that the dupes provide, but for most players it doesn’t matter since you can’t compete with whales. 1 copy or MLB if waifu.
Should you reroll for Ludmilla: Winter Owner?
She’s a limited character, so unless you start rerolling when her banner is up, you can’t get her. If you start playing while her banner is up, she’s an amazing DPS to get and carry you early on.
If you are keen on rerolling, consider checking our guides to see what are the units you should be aiming for.
