Review

Ether is an SR unit that, like other SR units in the game, do not really have a place in the main scope of the game.

Unlike other games, any NIKKE that is not an SSR has almost no use (outside of PVP) the further you are into the game. There are exceptions to this from people who heavily invest into a unit they love. Shoutout to Cdub for fully investing in Mihara since day 1.

SR units in general have limited scaling, as their limit breaks cap out at 2, while SSR’s cap out at 10. Once you get past the point where you are through the 160 wall, there is almost no reason to continue using SR units unless you are somehow extremely unlucky.

The shield she provides to the team is useful paired with the damage taken reduced, but is still not good enough as she is lacking offensive support skills, which in this game are way more important.

She is also a 40-second cooldown burst 1, competing with one of the toughest spots in the game with plenty of top tier support units that have a 20-second cooldown. There are a lot of burst I units in this game, so there should be no reason to have her on your team unless she’s your waifu.

Should you reroll for Ether?

No. Never reroll for SR units in Nikke.
