Review
If you like PVP in games Jackal is a must-have because NIKKE rewards teams that can burst first to kill the enemies (stun, taunt, etc.) and she’s one of the best units in the game for burst generation.
Her skill 1 is mostly PVP oriented but can be also applied to bosses since damage taken debuff is quite powerful, but it’s hard to control when it activates since Jackal doesn’t have a taunt.
With the damage sharing on skill 2 and defense buff for the whole team that has a 2-minute duration, you can tank a lot more damage using her in your team, which is super nice. The downside of this skill is that it only activates once per battle, leaving you with a unit with only 1 skill afterward.
When it comes to PVE content, Jackal shares the most competitive burst slot in the game. There are currently units in that slot that are too good not to use (Liter, Dorothy, Volume) that puts Jackal in a bit of a weird position. There is almost no circumstance you would use her over the NIKKE mentioned above.
Overall, she has a decent buff/debuff spread in her kit, even if the numbers on them are quite low.
In the current state of the game, Jackal still remains a power house in the PVP game modes as one of the best burst 1 you can slot in, but has much to be desired outside of PVP.
Should you reroll for Jackal?
Nikke is not a game where PVP is important or even good (is just a chibi version of the game, you can’t control anything else than the burst skills) so rerolling for Jackal is not a good idea unless she’s your waifu.
