Like all machine guns; Bastion. Unless you are super unlucky with overload stats and get no max ammunition, in that case run Resilience.

Stat priority

You want 2 good lines of max ammo capacity (or 3 if unlucky with % rolls). After that, focus on Elemental DMG and ATK. You can get crit and hit rate lines as fillers.

Character traits

Pros

– Damage as strong element has a 100% uptime if you build her properly (max ammo + bastion cube)

– Skill 1 extra damage is final, meaning it scales with gear and buffs and it procs every 1.8s, which is pretty good during a 3-minute fight

– Skill 2 ATK buff is based on her own stats, since she’s an attacker this is pretty good compared to other units with the same mechanic that are supporter / defenders

– Burst gives 50% attack damage to all Fire allies which is the strongest offensive buff in the game as of right now

Cons

– Limited unit, either you get her now or it’s jover

– She has less voice lines than Makima which is pretty hard to achieve

– Damage to shields is a pretty niche mechanic right now that finds no real usage

– Her shield on burst is quite useless outside of helping Asuka proc her kit

Should you reroll for Rei?

She’s a limited unit, so you can’t reroll for her unless you are playing while the collaboration between NIKKE and Evangelion is active.
