Burst Skill: Trouble Shooter Active – Cooldown 40.00S ■ Affects self. ATK Speed ▲ 68% for 15 sec. Hit Rate ▲ 33% for 15 sec.

Review

Sugar is a strong shotgun DPS that has a decent kit but relies too much on team composition, shining the most on shotgun teams.

She provides max ammo buff to other shotguns and has a good AoE damage. She is a better supporter for shotgun teams rather than an offensive standalone Burst III unit.

Sugar’s damage during her burst is where she stands out, giving herself a crazy attack/firing speed buff allowing her synergy with her skill 2 to really thrive.

Like a lot of other shotgun units however she still suffers from overall lack of damage when out of burst. Triggering her Skill 1 passive is not difficult however it is situationally available and not consistent.

There has not been many character releases focused on and around shotgun specific units, so only time will tell where Sugar’s potential really lies. For a shotgun focused DPS however, her potential is there and available and she has the added benefit of giving her self attack speed which even the most meta NIKKE don’t possess (for good reason).

Should you reroll for Sugar?

We do not recommend rerolling for Sugar.

Even if she’s not a bad unit, there’s too much competition in the Burst III positions and you would be better going for one of the top DPS girls.
