Season 7 – Ultra

This Guide will mainly cover popular compositions for Challenge Mode. If you want to check the mechanics of Ultra, we have a full guide here written by Jay. Solo Raids have been getting “simpler” when it comes to mechanics and just add extra QTE to make it easier for all players to get a good score.

Notable DPS units for Ultra SR

Red Hood. On Element DPS with Huge Firepower and Pierce to Boot, she’s required if you want to compete for high spots on this Solo Raid.

Alice. Though off Element, Alice packs huge firepower with built-in higher atk power and insane charge speed similar to RH.

Snow White. On Element DPS with the Strongest Single Fire Burst in the game. With a high single shot burst and pierce Snow white always takes a spot on SR.

A2. Part Breaker Queen, with the biggest Horizontal Splash of any Nikke in the game, with increased damage to parts.

Anis: Sparkling Summer. Though off element, Anis still packs a lot of damage and due to her reload Nuke mechanic.

Maxwell. On element DPS with one of the strongest single fire bursts in the game, can act both as support if you only level up skill 1 or DPS if fully invested.

In terms of supports, they are basically the bread and butter of Solo Raid, being able to mix and match supports to figure out optimal setups should lead to higher damage dealt overall.

Popular compositions for this Solo Raid

Red Hood DPS & School girls

Main composition for this SR giving Red Hood the required buffs she needs to deal optimal amount of damage without sacrificing a 2nd DPS on a 2nd party to deal decent enough damage. With Naga & Tia most triggers can be outright ignored as covers and heals are more than sufficient to cover Red Hood as she deals damage.

The only variation on this composition is the second DPS. Some people use Alice, others prefer Maxwell, up to you here what you want to use.

Alice & Bunny girls

With Alice and bunny girls, the gameplay is more or less similar to the first composition, where most triggers can be ignored due to the sustain the bunnies provide. Combined with Alice’s self-heal, this composition is fairly straight forward.

A lot of people are using Maxwell here if they decide to put Alice on the first composition since she has element advantage for this boss.

One-shot Snow White crit fishing

With Snow White compositions, you always have to do a bit of fishing. As Snow white would need to do core hit crits with pierce to deal optimal amount of damage.

As this comp relies heavily on fishing and many trial and error to understand how it functions, it is not recommended for players who do not like to spend hours grinding for the optimal damage setup.

This composition also requires a lot of investment on units that are only used with Snow White, but when properly invested, it hits really hard.

Biscuit & Poli

The only composition using a double burst 2, this time with Poli and Biscuit. This requires a little bit of manual play to time your cover repairs, thanks to Biscuit.

For DPS units we are using Dorothy, Privaty and Anis: Sparkling Summer, since all of them have synergy together.

Leftover composition

There are plenty of good DPS options left here so you can mix and match, but for cooldown reduction most people will pick Dolla and as the burst 1 / healer option, Mary: Bay Goddess.

The last composition is always the worst since it’s just the leftover units from the other teams, so don’t feel bad if you are missing units or doing a lot less damage compared to the other teams.
